So-jung, a freelance photographer, finds out that she has a critical condition that is slowly ruining her eyesight and threatening to eventually leave her blind. She decides not to go abroad to study with her boyfriend, Ji-suk. So-Jung returns home for her grandmother\'s funeral only to find her family involved in tense arguments. When a fortune-teller reveals that he sees two trees in the family , they rush out to the tomb of their grandfather. Instead of bonding the family together, the reunion only seems to make matters worse. Disappointed and apathetic, So-Jung returns to Seoul. She discovers that her photo of a smiling Buddha is out of focus; her eyes have already started to deteriorate. So-Jung decides to learn how to fly an ultra-light plane. One day after her instructor leaves, she decides to fly solo. Feeling liberated from all of her troubles, she flies above the windy fields.
